Barcelona is famous for its beaches, mountains, and city life.
I visited Barcelona in the month of February and yes it was not the perfect weather for the beautiful city of beaches but I think that added a plus to my travel. I could explore the architecture, shopping streets, and good restaurants. Barcelona is much more than 3 days but let me list out the things which I enjoyed doing in Barcelona.
Stay In Barcelona
My stay in Barcelona was just next to the beach in Pullman Barcelona Skipper. The hotel was a 15-minute drive from the airport in the cab and a 1-hour ride on the local transport. The hotel was just near the beach and the famous party district. It has very chic and elegant Interiors. The staff at the hotel was polite and quite informative for tourists. They guided us about local transport and maps.
Gaudi Architecture
The city has its own charm with beautiful buildings. Antoni Gaudi famous for his work in Barcelona has architecture display in and around the city including Church of Sagrada. This can be best enjoyed while walking the. some of them not to be missed are casa Batllo, Casa Mila, Park Guell and Church of Sagrada.
Must Visit Places in Barcelona
The Beach
Barcelona is famous for Beaches, whether to relax and unwind or some parties, its the right place for everyone. I went during the month of February so chilling at the beach wast difficult but I definitely didn’t regret as I actually managed to see the vast coastline without any human disturbance.
Gothic Quarter
Gothic Quarter in Barcelona is famous for its architecture, detailed stonework, cobbled streets, and narrow routes leading to a new place every time but also getting back to the same place again and again.
Streets of Barcelona
Streets of Barcelona are famous for architecture but also for shopping. There is something for everyone the streets of Barcelona and its paradise for street photographers.
