Prague is the capital and largest city in the Czech Republic. Prague is a cultural and economic center of central Europe with a rich history. Founded during the Romanesque and flourishing by the Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque eras, Prague was the capital of the Kingdom of Bohemia and the main residence of several Holy Roman Emperors.
Prague is known for its beauty and architecture. There are many places in Prague which are famous for its photographic scenes. We decided to explore Prague and try and get some decent pictures for our trip.
Prague Castle
The castle complex in Prague, the Czech Republic, built in the 9th century. It is the official office of the President of the Czech Republic. The castle was a seat of power for kings of Bohemia. the best part of the castle is to take the tram up and walk on your way down. If you are not a history person, I would still advise you to visit the castle for amazing views of the city.
Dancing House, Prague
This is one place about which I had no clue on the history but just wanted to go as have been seeing so many pictures on Instagram but when I reached I definitely wanted to check some history online and as said on Wikipedia “The Dancing House, or Fred and Ginger, is the nickname given to the Nationale-Nederlanden building on the Rašínovo nábřeží in Prague, Czech Republic. It was designed by the Croatian-Czech architect Vlado Milunić in cooperation with Canadian-American architect Frank Gehry on a vacant riverfront plot”.
This is one place you should visit in the morning hours if you are looking for professional photography as the place gets really busy with people trying to get the best pictures.
Charles Bridge
Charles Bridge is a historic bridge that crosses the Vltava river in Prague, Czech Republic. Its construction started in 1357 under the auspices of King Charles IV and finished in the beginning of the 15th century which make sit an important site for history and culture. Tourists love getting pictures done here. As our visit was during Christmas the bridge was full of tourists and to get the picture without people in the background was impossible. The bridge can be visited on the way back from the Prague castle.
Old Town Square Prague ( Day)
Old Town Square, in Czech known as Staroměstské náměstí, is the central square of the historic part of Prague. The square is one of the greatest tourist attractions of the Czech capital, along with Charles Bridge and Prague Castle.

Old Town square looks completely different during Christmas time and is a must-visit. This will definitely make you believe in wonderland and magical places.
Prague Astronomical Clock
The Prague Astronomical Clock, or Prague Orloj, is a medieval astronomical clock located in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic. The clock was first installed in 1410, making it the third-oldest astronomical clock in the world and the oldest clock still operating. The view from the tower is amazing and have guided tours for tourist every 30 minutes.
Jewish quarters
This is a town quarter and the smallest cadastral area of Prague, Czech Republic, formerly the Jewish ghetto of the town. It is completely surrounded by the Old Town. The quarter is often represented by the flag of Prague’s Jewish community.
John Lennon Wall
The Lennon Wall or John Lennon Wall is a wall in Prague, Czech Republic. Since the 1980s this once typical wall has been filled with John Lennon-inspired graffiti, lyrics from Beatles’ songs, and designs relating to local and global causes
